the longer you stay in college the more eccentric your professors become. i'm not sure why this is, but my theory so far is that as you take upper level classes, the profs get older, thus making them wackier. they do, however, sometimes make class more amusing. i had a prof tell us last semester to 'beware of accidental babies.' and today, and different prof tell us 'go hang out with your friends, but don't drink if you're underage.' i suppose this is all good advice, but really, something one should already know. perhaps it's the context that makes it kind of funny.
i do not, on the other hand, appreciate it when they decide to lecture on the first day of class. that. is. lame.
anyway. lots of reading to do and it's only tuesday...agh. the joys of being a daigakusei.
