annoyed.

1. if a professor decides to crosslist their course, they should know what the prerequisites (if there are any) are for every department. not just two out of three, especially when the course catalog is online and extremely easy to look up.

2. if a professor then emails you to say you do not have the proper prerequisite for her course, marking that email urgent, they should check their email in a timely manner (i do not consider three days without a response to be a timely manner) and email you back, after you've looked up the prerequisites for the department you're registered under and found that you have, indeed, taken a prerequisite and emailed this to her.

3. if a department has informed the arts and sciences advisors that taking jpn 350 and jpn 302 concurrently is not considered backtracking, the arts and sciences advisors should make note of that fact so that the jpn advisor does not get upset with a student when she says that her arts and sciences advisor needs a memo saying that it's not backtracking.

4. UHM is ridiculously complicated, and they should simplify. sheesh.

and these annoyances are just from this semester. dare i even mention parking? or student housing? or...the state of the campus? grr.
