day one.

so, i got through day one of summer fun. i walked past my director after the day was over and said, 'one down, fifty million more days to go!' she then replied, 'no, just 29!' so apparently she knows exactly how many days of summer fun there are, and as of the end of this week, it will be just 27 days left. this doesn't include weekends, so this would be 30 days total with kids, or six weeks.

my homeroom group was pretty mellow today. i hope they stay that way. but now that i've said they're mellow, they will not be anymore.

maybe i shouldn't have said anything yet. i think tomorrow will be a tough day...i have the older kids rotating to me, and it's harder to amuse older kids. shrug. i'll think of something.

um, i want to see ratatouille. it looks funny, and it's pixar. that's reason enough for me. actually, the fact that it's pixar is enough for me to want to see a movie. this summer is a good book and movie summer. books = harry potter 7 and eclipse. movies = harry potter 5 and...well i guess ratatouille. and for other people transformers and fantastic 4 and whatever else is around. i think i'm more excited about the books. is that dorky of me?
